S. Korea to Hold Massive Military Exercises Thursday, Friday

South Korea’s military will carry out large training exercises Thursday amid concerns of further provocations from North Korea following its third nuclear test.

The Air Force will conduct a preparedness drill with the participation of key fighter jets, including F-15Ks.

The Navy will mobilize surface ships and aircraft to carry out drills on responding to provocations in the East Sea and Yellow Sea.

The Army is preparing to conduct a massive artillery firing exercise along the border area with North Korea in Gangwon Province on Friday.
